Whether you are an individual user installing or upgrading the product for yourself or an administrator who install and maintain Tableau for other users, you will need the following two things:
- A Creator product key
- The installer(Link opens in a new window) for the version you want to install.
Upload a copy of the Tableau Desktop DMG file to a network share and tell users to download it to their Mac computers from there. You can follow the prompts to complete the installation. You can also create a.sh script that mounts the DMG file and copies Tableau to your user's computers. Open the Product Downloads and Release Notes page and select Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep Builder from the list on the left side of the page. Click on the version you want to install. In the Download Files section of the page, click on the installer for your operating system to download it. Download Tableau Public - Create graphs based on data stored in spreadsheet files or Access databases, Google Sheets and other sources, then share or publish it to backup your story with facts. Download Tableau Desktop Tableau provides a 14-days trial version of Tableau desktop. You can use the same and practice it on your own.
